Apple iOS: Set up your WISS eMail on your iPhone or iPad

When you add your WISS Exchange ActiveSync account, you can sync your Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes with your iOS device.

1: Add your Exchange account

Tap Settings > Mail > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.

If you're adding another account, tap Accounts > Add Account.


2: Enter your email address

Enter your email address, then tap Next. You can also enter an account description.

3: Connect to your Exchange Server

After you enter your email address, choose Sign In or Configure Manually.

Tap Sign In to discover your Exchange account information automatically. If your account uses modern authentication, you'll be guided through a custom authentication workflow. 


Tap Configure Manually to set up your account manually. Enter your email password, then tap Next. You might also be prompted to enter additional server information, which you can see on the image below ("Server" is wiss.cn; "Domain" is partner.outlook.cn

4: Sync your content

You can sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes. When you're finished, tap Save

Edit your Exchange settings

Tap Settings > Mail > Accounts, then select your Exchange account. You can also set up automatic out-of-office replies and change how often you want Mail to sync. To change advanced settings, tap your account name to change settings like SSL and S/MIME.





Android OS: Set up your WISS eMail on your Android Phone or Tablet


Set up Outlook for Android for the first time


1: Install the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store and then open it.

Tap Get Started if this is your first time.


Otherwise, to add another email account, open the Menu > Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account

Then skip to step 4 under Set up another email account (shown below) .


2: Outlook may detect your Google accounts

To add them to Outlook for Android, tap Google Connect Account and then tap OK to confirm. 

Tap Allow to give Outlook access to your Contacts.

If you don't want to add these accounts, tap Skip and then go to step 4 under Set up another email account (shown below).



3: Select the accounts you'd like to add and tap Add Account

You may be asked to sign in.

Tap Allow to confirm offline access and any other prompts.

To add another email account, tap Continue and go to Step 4 (shown below), otherwise, tap Skip.

4: Enter your full email address, then tap Continue.

Note: If you're asked to choose your provider, you'll have to Set up your Exchange manually. For WISS the details are:


5: Enter your email account password and tap Sign In or Next.

Note: The sign in screen may look different for you depending on your email provider.

6: If multi-factor authentication is enabled, verify your identity.
