Did you know that you can Download ALL your Google data in bulk, and convert files at the same time, all in one go!?

This is great, especially here in China where Google services are sometimes not available even with a VPN (like during the National Congress period).

You can export and download your data from the Google products you use, like your documents, email, calendar, and photos. In a few easy steps, create an archive to keep for your records or use the data in another service.

What’s even better is that using this download service is that for your Drive files you can choose which format you want your Google Docs converted to when they are downloaded. For example, you could choose to download all your documents and automatically convert each of them on-the-fly to the corresponding Microsoft Office format.

Here is the guide with all necessary explanations and links: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3024190

If you want to jump straight to the download tool go here (sign-in to your Google Workspace account first): https://www.google.com/settings/takeout

If you just want to convert INDIVIDUAL Microsoft Office files to Google Docs:

Convert an Office File to Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides

1.       Sign in to drive.google.com.

2.       Right-click a file.

3.      Select Open with > Docs (or Sheets or Slides).
