OneDrive

I want to highlight the OneDrive app, which is part of your WISS O365 account. OneDrive is Microsoft's service for hosting files in the "cloud", that's available for free to all the owners of a Microsoft account. OneDrive offers users a simple way to store, sync and share all kinds of files, with other people and devices on the Web.

One Drive App: MacOS

When you want to install the OneDrive app to your MacOS personal computer the app needs to come from the China Apple App store so it will connect to the China version of Office365 (as opposed to the International version of O365), which is what we use at WISS. I know most of you are NOT connected to the China version of the App store, so I have downloaded that app for you. Here is a link to the app. Please download the zipped (*.rar) file, extract it, then install the OneDrive application.

OneDrive App: Windows OS

Windows 10 computers should already have the OneDrive app installed. However, if you have an older or incompatible version on your personal computer you can download the latest version of the Windows OneDrive app from here: https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/download/

Linking your WISS account to your OneDrive app

Once you have installed OneDrive, sign-in using your FULL WISS EMAIL address (icluding '@wiss.cn') and password and choose the folders from your OneDrive Cloud that you would like to sync to your local computer.

Locally synced files are quicker to access and work on and all changes are automatically saved back up to your OneDrive Cloud which is accessible from any device with a browser and internet connection.
