Add the WISS Printer
Go to App store,download and install the Ricoh Smart Device Connector app:
Finally, once it's installed, launch the Ricoh Smart Device Connector app:
1.Open the app and slide to MFP/Printer, then click Printer Server Settings
2.Turn Use Print Server on, and click Add Machine:
3 Enter the details as shown:
Enter the IP address and the hostname: 192.168.1.17
Share Name: WISS-PrintQ
Domain Name: wiss.cn
Login User Name:Type your school wiss account
Login Password: Type your school wiss password
Finally, press the Search button:
The newly added printer should now appear in the printer list. Make sure your settings are as below:
Now you have added the printer, you can go ahead and print your documents or images.Print Documents and Images
Print PDFs
- Once you have successfully installed the Ricoh printer app, open your PDF file and click the 'Share' icon.
- Choose to share to the Ricoh app.
- Select the printer settings you want and click the START button, at the bottom, to send your print to the print server.
- You can collect your print as usual from any WISS printer on campus by logging in with your WISS domain username and password (or Pirinter PIN if you have set one up).
Print Images
To print, you first need to launch the Ricoh printer app, then click the Print icon:
Next, click the type of item you want to print. In the example screenshot below, the item to print is an image, so the Album icon is selected:
Select the document you want to print then press DONE (top right corner):
Now, tap the Print Settings button and adjust the settings to what you need:
If its the first time you have printed from your device, you MIGHT see the following screen - just tap on the X (upper right corner) to dismiss it:
Enter the print settings you need, then press the START button. After that, you can collect your print as usual from any WISS printer on campus by logging in with your WISS domain username and password (or Pirinter PIN if you have set one up):
